I am still reading Girl Waits With Gun, which I am enjoying!
I am also reading/using Get Started Knitting, Learn Something New to…well, get started knitting!
I am an avid crocheter (love it!), but recently started knitting to have options when making my kids clothing (mainly sweaters). This is one of two books I have found to be very helpful.
Although I am always updating my Around the Bases CAL, I am also working on two other projects.
I am making a friend’s daughter a Neat Ripple Afghan. One of my favorite patterns from one of my favorite bloggers, Lucy at Attic 24. Whether you are a beginner or advanced crocheter, this is a great pattern and the finished result is gorgeous!
My second project is Triangle Shawl from Yarnspirations. Since I only know how to do the knit stitch at this time, this is a great pattern. Knit, Kfb, K2tog are the only stitches required. I used my handy-dandy book to learn Kfb.
Next week, I hope to have a new fiction read to recommend!
Happy Crocheting & Knitting!
