Miss ME and I went to visit my mom at the library (she runs her local library “Friends of the Library”Book Sale) and found these books.
I am pretty sure I have read all of Jane Green’s books, but neither of these sounded familiar. Of course, I say that about a lot of books and then think-“this is so familiar” when I’m 100 pages in. Oh well, each book was $.50 so no real loss if I have read them before.
My mom also holds any books on Autism for me. Any tips and tricks I can learn in communication with my son, I’ll take ’em!
That night, Miss ME was very tired, but just wouldn’t fall asleep. I sat looking at her laying on the couch and noticed that she twirls her hair with her left hand.
I mentioned it to my husband and he looked at me and said-“really Ali, you’re surprised by that? You always twirl you hair with your left hand”.
Yup, I do it..my mom does it… and now my daughter does it.
Why the left hand?
Because we use our right to turn the pages of the book of course.
