Many months ago, The Knot Theorist wrote a post about her Nymphadora Tonks Shawl.
I fell in love with it. After looking up the pattern on Ravelry, I realized what I loved was the yarn it was made with, but then I forgot about it.
Two weeks later, The Knot Theorist posted a give-a-way for Jazz Handz yarn, the yarn she made the shawl from.
Recently, Jazz Handz had a sale and I purchased two skeins.
It is so lovely!
I now have the perfect yarn to make this:
I love supporting small businesses and also receiving beautifully packaged goodies in the mail!
I am glad you liked the yarn! I guess it’s been a year since I’ve done a search about my yarn and hadn’t seen your blog post on it until today. It’s interesting to take a look back at what I was making one year ago. I’m happy to see that, not only has my winding technique improved (apologies for the messy looking cakes I was making then), but I can see how far I’ve come as an artist in creating new ideas for blending more than three colors. I believe I was the first stranded fiber artist to create cakes with six or more colors. Sometimes, changes are so slow that we aren’t aware of how much we’ve grown or improved, until we look back at where we were. So, if you haven’t taken a look at the Etsy shop recently, take a peek at what a difference a year can make.Thank you for spreading some Jazz Handz Fusion Fiber love!
