A friend of mine is going through some really big life changes.
This all happened suddenly and I haven’t seen her.
I adore her and wanted to show her how much I will miss her.
This is my version of a Prayer Shawl.
Since I am not religious, I am calling this my “Good Thoughts Shawl“.
I really did think good thoughts and wishes for her as I made this.

What a lovely pattern!
A simply triangle shawl that has wonderful texture.
Using simple stitches, it is a very easy crochet project.
I really liked the yarn I chose, Drops Fabel in Wooden Rose (#655; 75% wool and 25% nylon).
The shawl curled in on itself as I made it (causing me to make a mistake that I noticed 20 rows later….a good deal of frogging required), so it required a good blocking.
Simply lovely!
I adore it so much, I am making myself one with yarn from my LYS.
I really hope she enjoys the shawl!
Happy Crocheting!
