I am still reading Elephant Company.  I am really enjoying it!

I’m reading this slowly. It almost feels as though the slow pace of the book is making me slow down and really enjoy the book.

As with  All Creatures Great and Small, I am learning things and often stop to Google information about Burma, logging, elephants, etc.

My Nordic Garter Stitch Shawl is in a holding pattern.  I dropped a stitch, watched a few Youtube videos on how to fix it, thought I had managed it, realized I didn’t and am afraid to do any more repair work  There are several advanced knitters at work, and someone will help me fix it.

So, this week has been all about pattern testing The Knot Theorist’s Dragonfruit Shawl.

Section I took the most time as I had to frog several times due to my tension.

I am currently on Section II.
