A lovely friend of mine is expecting her second child this fall, a girl!
So I searched for a simple, sweet pattern for a car seat blanket.
I had four skeins of Lion Brand Tweed Stripes in Luau (primarily pink) and searched the Lion Brand website for a pattern.
The Easy Stripes Baby Throw looked adorable so that is what I chose.
I used a little over three skeins for the car seat blanket and the remainder of the fourth skein to make a cute, simple hat.
Soft and squishy!
It will go in the mail this week.
Happy Crocheting!

What a precious set! I love those colors and your crocheting always looks so perfect! I’ll have to look up that yarn. I like to see people using more “reasonably priced” yarns as I can’t always afford the hand-dyed versions. They’re beautiful but also not practical for gift recipients that I make for…like children and parents who don’t have time to hand wash and block! LOL!

I agree! I like acrylic yarn for baby gifts for exactly that reason (and because you never know if people have a wool allergy).

Oooh… I love the colors in that yarn. I really did not need to fall in love with another yarn, but I think I might just have. That makes an adorable little baby girl blanket and hat.
