This week I made over a dresser for my daughter (I’ll post on this at a later time).
I thought a Mandala for the top would be pretty.
I chose a Meditative Mandala from Crochet to Calm.
I LOVE this book!
So many easy, lovely patterns.
I have yarn to make the Babala Hat, the Honeycomb Blanket and the Chevron Scarf.
Now, back to the Mandala.
Although this calls for DK yarn, I used Loops & Threads Facet (bulky) yarn in Ruby.
This looked much more purple/magenta in the skein, but now looks more red/magenta in the mandala.
Not sure I’m in love with the colors in the finished project, but it is pretty!
Currently on the blocking mats.
My book this week is Gloria Steinem’s My Life on the Road.
I heard her interviewed about this book on NPR and really wanted to read it!
Have a great week!
Joining Ginny’s Yarn Along.
Are you enjoying the Gloria Steinem book? I have it on my bookshelf but have yet to read it.

I am enjoying it! I really didn’t know a lot about her early life and that has been an eye opener. She was interviewed (here) on NPR and it was a good interview.
