This week I finished The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend.
Such a sweet book.
A relaxing read about a girl from Sweden, a small town and lots of books.
I loved this particular chapter:
The title of the chapter says it all: The Smell of Books and Adventure.
I’m one of those weird people who loves the smell of books and I totally related to this chapter…how different types of books smell different.
How each time you open a book there is a new adventure awaiting you!
My next adventure brings me back to an old friend-Will Trent.
Oh, how I love Will Trent.
Karin Slaughter’s The Kept Woman.
I treated myself to the hardcover.
Only for Will Trent would I spend the money and not wait for the book from the library.
I can’t wait to dive in.
I finished my Caron Cake Super Scarf, posting on that later.
This week I dug into my stash and wound up some yarn for a pattern test for The Knot Theorist.
I will be testing the Rain on the Cobblestones Cowl.
Looking forward to starting this later today!

I can’t wait to see this cowl pattern in the works. I’ve never seen that brand of yarn before. Have you used it before? The smell of a brand new book or a fresh notebook or even a new car makes me smile.

I haven’t used this yarn before. I bought it on Craftsy.com and they call it a Craftsy exclusive so I’m not sure if it is their own brand. It’s awfully soft though!
I love cracking a brand new book. I read on my iPads and kindles, but always love getting a brand new book in my hands!
