Or, otherwise known as, my Gilmore Girls Scarf!
I needed an easy, “don’t need to think too much about it” project as I binge watched Gilmore Girls A Year in the Life.
Luckily, I had an easy pattern.
Because, as you can see, my little cherubs did not make binge watching easy.
Granted, I was watching it in their play room as it is the tv I can get Netflix on, so I can’t really blame them for being in the room.
Don’t mind the state of the room, I was on “mommy is not here” mode while I watched.
I chose The Stitching Mommy’s Grey Skies Scarf and I am very happy with the results!
I happened to have a skein of the suggested yarn, Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball in Feng Shui Grey, and a 6mm hook.
I chose to add a pompom to each corner and really like how it weighs down the scarf just enough.
It is a super soft scarf and I love how it feels.
Will I use this yarn again?
I honestly don’t know.
I wasn’t thrilled with it, but I do like the finished product and the fact that you have so much yardage per skein.
We’ll see!
Happy Crocheting!

I love the scarf! This post has me reconsidering buying a Caron Cake to make one – with pom poms! I’m curious what you don’t especially like about the yarn you used. I love the way the colors change gradually. BTW, I’m probably the last living person who hasn’t seen Gilmore Girls – until this past week. And now that I’m hooked, I may be hooking my way through all seven seasons. It may take me a while as I’m only about a quarter of the way through season 1.

I do love the gradual color change. I think it is more a #3 weight rather than a 4 which means it wraps nicely. I don’t know what it was…it just didn’t scream “run out and get more” to me.
Maybe I’m just done making scarves rather than the yarn 😉.
Oh to start GGs all over again! I hope you enjoy the whole series!!

I really like the way the colors gradiate throughout the scarf. The pom poms on the end are the perfect touch too. Your little cherub is so sweet looking.

Love that scarf! At least yours I do……love the yarn and my daughter is a gray fiend so it would be the perfect colorway for her without being boring. I like the pom poms too. Did you make your own? This one is definitely going on my hook for sure! You and Becki make such gorgeous items. I am still slogging through the first years of GG’s. I’m almost done. I was like Becki….I think I had gone back to school then and literally missed all t.v. programs for like 3 years! LOL! What’s next? I always love your projects!
