Many, many, many moons ago, I started a PomPom Scarf from the book Learn to Knit by Fiona Goble.
My beautiful yarn (gifted to me by my Sister in Law) seen on the left.
Then, I worked on it slowly.
It was seen in Yarn Along pictures.
Then, I made a mistake and had no idea how to fix it.
To my rescue, my friend Jean.
She frogged and fixed and knitted a few rows for me on her lunch hour.
I finally finished it!
A simple row repeat that is mainly knit stitch (I still don’t like to purl, so this was perfect).
This yarn is so soft and I enjoyed working with it (Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande-Thank you Mary Ellen!).
I used two skeins and US 11 straight needles.
I had purchased two purple/pink Lion Brand Fur PomPoms, but honestly, I couldn’t figure out how to attach them.
I know this sounds silly, but the pompoms have an elastic loop and are solid (I couldn’t get a needle through).
If I cut the loop then knot it after its on, the knot doesn’t hold.
If anyone has advice on how to attach them, let me know-I have hats I could used them for!
So, I made pompoms from good old Lion Brand Jiffy yarn.
I love it!
I haven’t blocked it yet, waiting for room to clear of holiday decorations so I can set up my blocking boards.
Regardless, I don’t mind the curl.
It is warm and even though it sheds a little, I’ll be wearing this one!
Happy Knitting & Crocheting!

I love the heathered purple and the pom pom ends are so fun!
