I made a hat!
I made a hat in the round!
I made a hat in the round with worsted weight and NOT chunky weight!
I’m on top of the world!
Well, maybe not on top of the word, but I am pretty stoked!
I used Patons Work Sock Hat pattern.
I liked this pattern because even after you started decreasing, you still had enough stitches to stay with circular needles.
I’m not up to double point needles yet 😉
I used a little less than half a Caron Cake, color way Boston Cream, and 5mm circular needles.
I love it!
I’m gifting this one, but plan on making another for charity.
We had our first winter snow storm too!
Although I’m waiting for the kids snow pants to arrive from Amazon, we had fun hours in the snow in our double layers of sweat pants.
Love my baby girl running to me laughing!
Have a good week!

looks like your hat knitting is necessary with all that snow! Well done.

That’s an awesome hat. Good pattern for the Caron Cake! DPNs aren’t so bad after a couple of tries – you can do it :). Also, your Pompom is pretty fantastic too!
