I have backtracked to Project #1 in the book School of Sewing.
I LOVE this book!
Very clear instructions and photographed beautifully.
Using the magic pillow case method (same steps as found in the Shabby Fabric Tutorial), I made some new pillow cases for myself.
However, I incorporated french seams as outlined in the book!
Using fabric I found on sale at Joann’s, this entire project cost me $5.00.
A nice, quick, inexpensive way to change some decor!
Have a lovely day!
You are killin’ it in the sewing arena, girl! I finally started sewing yesterday! Then I messed up on the dang cuff. But with iMessages w/my mum, I figured out my rookie mistake and found a fast way to rip out seams w/the seam ripper. So just need to iron the pieces and restart on those pieces.
