Last week a friend gave me a bag of scrap fabric.
My intention had been to make a quilt for charity.
I washed and ironed all the fabric then set about cutting strips.
Miss ME joined me and was actually quite helpful (she now has her own “bag of scraps”!)
Then, she helped me mix up all the strips.
Because she had such fun doing this, I’ve decided that this is going to be a quilt for her!
I did a good and trusty Jelly Roll Race Quilt top and I think it looks great!
I plan on using stash fabric for the back and left over Jelly Roll strips (from my pattern holder bin) for the binding.
I won’t be able to work on this until next week as the kids have no school today and Monday (I can’t put the quilt together if they are home…too many little hands).
I hope you all have a great weekend!

Thank you!!! I have to make the backing using stash fabric so it will also be scrappy!
