A while back, a friend gave me a bag of scrap fabric.
Miss ME and I pieced together a jelly roll quilt top from that.
Miss ME was a big help!
I then used scrap fabric from my stash to make a quilt back.
Yesterday, I did the quilting.
Honestly, I didn’t worry about the “straightness” of my quilting lines.
It definitely has a “homemade” look and feel.
For binding, I used left over 2.5 inch strips from my pattern basket.
E was very helpful, placing the wonder clips for me (LOVE those clips).
I can honestly say, Miss ME loves her new quilt!
If felt good to sit at my sewing machine for a few hours!
Have a wonderful week!

What a fantastic quilt. So cheerful. Way to go, you.

Every view of that quilt looks like a different quilt! What a fun creation. Also, I always love seeing pictures of your kiddos. Miss E looks full of joy being your helper. 🙂

What a darling quilt and made from scraps? I love scrappy anything but that one is darling! Miss ME is so cute I just want to hug her…she has the most beautiful joyful smile. I need to get back sewing as I have 2 more I Spy quilts to make for the grands. I still want to get that sewing book you use. You’ve made so many lovely things….keep up the good work! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
