In preparation for Thanksgiving, along with cooking, I wanted to make my daughter a dress.
At Joann’s I found this fabric for 50% off:
My family loves Peanuts and I thought it would be fitting for her to wear a Peanuts themed dress.
New to garment sewing, I wanted a simple pattern.
You can’t get much more simple than a pillowcase dress.
I used Simplicity 2391 View B.
(I knew there was a reason I stock up on patterns when there is a $1.00 sale!)
Done in about 45 minutes from start to finish.
Paired with a simple white top and white tights.
This girl was ready to play with her cousins!
She was comfortable, jumping, tumbling and rolling all day 🙂
We all had a wonderful day and I hope you did too!
Love the fabric and her smile is radiant! OMGosh, we forgot to watch Charlie Brown last week when we were off.
