While I work diligently on my Missouri Star Quilt Christmas Tree Skirt (hopefully finishing in time for Christmas Eve), I made a quick project for Christmas Day.
I found some fun Christmas fabric at Joann’s and decided to make simple placemats for Christmas Day dinner.
I found this simple tutorial on Hello Creative Family.
Super fast and easy.
Well, easy except for the fact I apparently can’t cut simple rectangles uniformly (seriously, patterns-no problem, as simple rectangle, problem).
So, I have 4 total and each pair matches in size 😉
No matter, they will make my table look more festive!
I love the retro feel of the fabric-reminds me of the ornaments inherited from my great aunt and Nana.
I hope to have my Christmas Tree Skirt finished Saturday, just the binding left (can’t sew today or tomorrow).
Have a great day!
That is a great print.
