2018 is here!
I don’t have any resolutions or goals beyond doing the things that bring me joy and contentment.
On January 1st I sat at my trusty Brother sewing machine and sewed a very simple project.
I made Miss ME some new pajama bottoms.
This time around, I traced her size rather than cut out the pattern (since I want to make myself a pair and make a pair for E too).
I used Simplicity 8022 and, unlike the Butterick pattern, this required only cutting out two pieces and simple sewing.
Each pair used one yard of fabric (which I bought in the clearance section at Joann’s a while ago).
I was done from start to finish in less than an hour.
I plan on making myself a pair (and I’ll have time, we have a winter storm hitting tomorrow).
“Who loves her new pajamas?”
“ME!”
Have a great day!
It’s raining here, not hard but enough to wet everything. Love her new Dora pants. I ordered that pattern from Prime. It should come tomorrow.

So easy!! It is only one pattern piece though, so if you want to make different sizes you will need to trace it. I plan on using this one to make additional pants-easier than the other Butterick pattern which had 4 legs. Although, that was a great learning experience.
Can’t wait to see yours!

What did you use to trace?

I purchased tracing paper from Craftsy during a sale. I need to amend what I wrote. There are two pattern pieces (child/teen and adult). I am still using tracing paper though. Just traced out my size yesterday with plans to sew them today!
