Little bit of that….
Friends had asked for coffee cozies and I finished them and shipped them out!
I used Simplicity 8022 (which I used to make Miss ME PJ bottoms) to make myself a pair.
I used the same fabric (different color) that I used to make my Butterick PJ bottoms).
This fabric is simple quilting cotton from Joanns, which after a few washes is now super soft and comfy.
Unlike the Butterick pattern, this Simplicity pattern is SIMPLE.
The Butterick pattern had multiple pieces, many seams and was a very good learning experience.
This pattern is so easy I’ll be making many more pairs (hello flannel bottoms!)
I’m wearing these as I write this and they are so comfy 🙂
Next, as the cold weather hit, Miss ME’s bus driver kept commenting on my knit scarves.
So, I knit her one for her holiday gift from Miss ME (“I love seeing Ellen the bus driver every day Mama!”).
Bulky yarn, Purl Soho’s Color Tip Scarf pattern (free) and some good Netflix watching and this scarf was done and given before the holiday.
Happy to report, she loved it!
Have a great week!

What a sweetheart you are! I bet the bus driver was thrilled with that scarf and how helpful it is on bus runs. I smiled at thinking how you and your little miss are wearing matching PJ bottoms. I made the teenager a pencil case that didn’t quite come out as planned; I will try it again one day. I need to start on my girls’ flannel bottoms.

Thanks Stefanie!
It is nice to make things that people appreciate 🙂
I look forward to seeing your girls flannel bottoms-hope you find the pattern as easy as I do!
