London Sewing

10 years ago (wow, time flies), my mom and I went to London for a wonderful vacation.

It was such a great trip and awesome to share with my mom.

Since then we have both given each other gifts with a London theme.

Last year, I made my mom a Tin Can Knits Cowl in London Sky color way.

I have collected tea towels ever since my grandmother and aunt gave me some of their special towels years ago.

Recently, my mom gave me a tea towel with drawn London landmarks.

I loved it and didn’t want to use it and risk it becoming stained.

So, I decided to make this tea towel into a knitting project bag.

I LOVE the finished bag!

I love how the towel print worked perfectly and I love the bright red lining!

I used this simple tutorial as a guide.

So happy when an idea comes together so well!!

Have a great week!

I love the London knitting project bag! You always inspire me, Ali, whether it’s a new-to-me project you’re knitting or crocheting, or seeing something in a new way and making something clever with it. And you’ve done it again. The red lining is perfect!
