One of the groups I belong to on Ravelry is My Sister’s Knitter.
Currently, there is a KAL happening-My Sister’s Knitter Head, Neck, Feet KAL.
Perfect motivation to knit a cowl I had been eyeing for a bit, the Sugar Plum Cowl (free pattern).
In the past few months a Hobby Lobby opened near my parents.
I have seen so many people posting about using their line of yarn, so I bought some to check out.
One of the skeins I purchased was Yarn Bee Fair Isle.
I love the look of Fair Isle, but with two littles I don’ have the concentration or time to do real Fair Isle.
I happily cast on the cowl while having some Netflix time to myself.
(The Guernsey Literary and Potato Pie Society…it was good!)
I also knit this at the Toyota Dealership when I was having work done on my car.
(While I listened to 1776 via Audible)
This was a great “no think” project as the yarn did all the work.
I enjoyed working with the yarn as it was super soft and light.
I love the finished cowl!
I have yarn left over and using it and a grey solid from Willow Yarns (stash), I plan on making a hat (possible a Tam-were worn in the Netflix movie!).
However, prior to that I am hoping to make another free hat found on Ravelry, Lace and Garter Stitch Hat by YaYa Lovestoknit.
Have a great week!
I like the color scheme of your skein.

Did you just start knitting or did you start with a specific color in the skein

Hi! Just started knitting with the skein. It did all the work! I could have knit more but I wanted to end with a similar repeat of the cast on edge.
