My first favorite is my knitting tote I made from a tea towel my mom gave me.
We went to London together, so it brings nice memories to the forefront.
My love of tea towels goes back to my mom’s mom and I have a collection from her, my mom and my aunt who was from Germany.
I don’t know what made me decide to cut this one up and make a bag, but I am so glad I did!
Next, is a simple cowl I knit from a free pattern named Birthday Cake Cowl (found via Ravelry).
This seemed to be a perfect combination of yarn and pattern.
Another great pairing of pattern and yarn, my Hitchhiker!
I used Lion Brand Mandala yarn.
I wear this quite frequently and someone always comments on it!
Thank you to my friend Miss Jennifer for pushing me to try this pattern just when I had started knitting.
It took a long time to complete, but it was worth it.
Next, a pinterest inspired birthday cake for Eamon.
Anything that can make Eamon smile so sweetly is a favorite make!
Next, a great pairing of fabric and pattern!
My summer Gypsum skirt (pattern from Sew Liberated).
My Mama In a Stitch Telluride Sweater!
I started this and completed one panel….then I let it sit FOREVER, powered through and finished.
Thankful I did!
I wear this EVERYDAY!
The perfect, throw over my pjs in the early morning sweater.
I think the next picture says it all!
When your girl wants to be a spider web for Halloween, you break out a hot glue gun and make it happen!
My Stitch Sampler Shawl!
This was a great learning project for me and it is a free pattern!
My favorite article of clothing I made this year-Sew Liberated’s Metamorphic Dress!
This dress is now making me rethink how I dress, what I actually need and how to make a wardrobe fit my life.
Making this started a cascade…I have cleaned out my closet and now have about 10 articles of clothing I wear, mixing and matching (besides scrubs for work and workout clothes).
My first project from this GORGEOUS book!
I will be making more from this book in 2019.
I loved making this with Mary!
She wears it every night.
There were other fun projects, but these are the ones I loved as I looked through all my pictures from the blog!
Have a great Christmas and New Years!
I’ll be back with scheduled posts in the new year.
