I have added several magic balls to my stash buster granny afghan.
There is absolutely no thought into the order of the colors, totally random as I find quarter and half skeins in my stash.
I find it fun to change color and remember what project I made.
I have also started a pair of socks for Miss Mary.
Using a free pattern from Tin Can Knits-Rye Light, 5″ 2.5mm DPNs and Patons Kroy sock yarn.
I am on sock #1 and am up to the heel turn.
These are a great project to take to Mary’s Karate classes.
Notice I’m using my recently made project bag.
Initially I wasn’t thrilled with this bag, but I got rid of the chop sticks and made a draw string closure instead.
Now, I love the bag!
Perfect size for a sock knitting project and perfect size to fit in my purse.
I did finish my worsted toe up socks, unfortunately my bind off was too tight so they are unwearable 😢
However, no project is a loss.
I learned Judy’s Magic Cast on and how to do an afterthought heel!
I am also on section 10 of my Nightshift Shawl-THE LAST SECTION before the bind off!!
So excited to be nearing the end!
Have a great week!
