Scrappy Granny

A rainy, gray day.

Perfect day to finish my Scrappy Granny Afghan made with magic yarn balls.

Made up of different weight and material yarn, I used up a lot of half skeins and left overs (yay!!!).

In addition I used an entire skein of Yarn Bee Dee-Lish Boutique in Mousse Along and one skein of Stitch Studio Storybook Fanfare in English Toffee.

The Storybook Fanfare was used for the simple border.

For the border I did one round of single crochet followed by three rounds of half double crochet (used one entire skein).

This was a nice relaxing, tv watching project.

Also, it is so satisfying to use up yarn rather than tossing it or letting it sit.

We now have so many afghans that in the future, this would be a good way to make blankets for Project Linus.

Have a great week!
