This is a full, ambitious list.
I won’t complete it all, especially the fiber projects as I’m choosing bigger projects.
Knitting:
- Finish my Shift Cowl (and possibly use this pattern to use up scrap yarns throughout the year)
- Knit a Quince & Co. wrap (kit already received)
- Make any pattern from Taproot Magazine
- Knit/Crochet my 3 Lion Brand Kit projects (a knit sleeveless tee, a cardigan, and Two of Wands Movie Night Sweater- kits ordered during a sale)
- Finish my Lion Brand Raglan Cropped Cardigan (already started using a video tutorial by Very Pink Knits)
- Knit the Weekender Sweater…heck, just do some of the MANY Drea Renee patterns I have (sweaters, shawls, etc.)
- Knit my hat that was on my list last year
- Knit the cardigan pattern I bought on LYS Day
Crochet:
- Crochet Two of Wands French Market Tote (yarn purchased during the Lion Brand Sale)
- Crochet this blanket (yarn already in stash and put aside for this project)
- Crochet the Two of Wands Movie Night Sweater
- Add to my Charlotte Afghan (hopefully finish it)
- Use scraps/magic ball to make a second scrappy afghan
- Crochet/knit/quilt coasters (we need them)
Sewing/Quilting:
- Finish Eamon’s Thomas the Tank Engine Quilt for his birthday in July (I recently started this)
- Start my MSQ wall hanging
- Make my quilt that everything is already purchased for
- Make my own wardrobe (just a few simple pieces as I’ve realized, I really don’t need many clothes)
- Make Scrubs…why not make my own work clothes?
Home:
- Bake more varieties of bread
- Paint my daughter’s room (I promised to make her a “big girl” room when she starts kindergarten-a pale purple per request)
- Paint the kids playroom (the walls are pretty banged up with scuff marks, crayon, etc.)
- Declutter (consign, donate, sell)
Self:
- Continue to exercise and eat as healthy as I can and not beat myself up if I have an off day.
- Continue to nurture my mental health (exercise, reading, etc.)
- Continue to work on improving my sleep (it is slowly getting better after many years of insomnia and 3 hours of sleep a night-my knitting productivity has decreased recently as I have been sleeping more!)
And as always, feel free to add, take away and just revise this list over the year!
I look forward to seeing everyone else’s list and projects through out the year!

What a great list! I love the variety of projects in size and in medium and I think adding in the extra goals for self and home is a great idea. Looking forward to seeing more already!

Thank you! I love the book I am using! I think that will be a fall/winter project. I’m not a heat fan so an oven on in 90 degrees won’t be happening for me 🙂

A nice list covering all areas, I think this is a great idea to look at things holistically. I don’t know what MSQ stands for re: the wall hanging. Scrubs always look so comfortable, just imagine how great to make your own! Would they allow that at the healthcare place you work at? Taproot magazine must be brilliant if you are happy to knit any of the patterns, I’ve not had much luck when I’ve bought knitting magazines

Sorry-Missouri Star Quilt Co – I love their tutorials and I have sent quilts to them to be quilted with a long arm. They are interesting as they helped revitalize a small town and now it is a quilting destination. Yes, I could wear my own made scrubs to work. I really like Taproot magazine! There are no ads in it, just full of content. There is always a knitting or crochet project, a sewing project usually and lots of recipes and then articles on mindfulness, meditation, gardening etc.

I love that you touched on a bit of everything in your plans. I need to look at those kits as they sound interesting. The shift cowl sounds great if it uses up scraps. I too love Taproot magazine. Looking forward to another year with you and your wonderful projects. I’m also glad I’m not the only one who has decorating, painting, de-cluttering etc. on their mind! LOL!

Love it! You have so many plans and doesn’t it just help to get it all down for a visual? Can you tell I am a list girl? Best of luck and I am looking forward to cheering you on!

I love the fact you included more than just crafting type of goals. I love watching other’s being ‘human’ and doing things like baking bread and painting a room of their house. I am going to enjoy watching your blog this year!

Oooh… this is the second time I’ve seen that cityscape blanket. I think it’s really fun! I also like your personal goals that aren’t craft-related. Sleep is so important. Just one night of good sleep tells me how poorly I sleep most of the time. But I’ve been doing better about that, too, lately. I look forward to seeing all your makes, Ali. You always inspire me.

Great list – I especially like the ones to do with physical and mental health. Me too – more exercise, and being kind to myself when things don’t go, or come out, as planned.
