Interwoven Hat

I’m taking a break from two sweaters I am working on, a knit raglan cardigan and a crochet shrug.

I have long loved Two Of Wands patterns and decided to pick a pattern to challenge myself.

The only cable project I have done is a small knit coffee cozy.

So, I chose the Interwoven Hat.

A free pattern, I did actually purchase this pattern as part of the Road Trip Pattern Suite.

First challenge, the 1×1 ribbing.

I think I actually knit incorrectly ( I taught myself), but it is what it is 😊

So, I’m not a quick knitter doing this type of rib.

I made it through the 4 inches of rib and am on my second repeat of the cable pattern.

The pattern and instructions are very clear, so the second challenge of the cables has been easy!

I’m using the recommended yarn, Lion Brand Woolease (from my stash) in Paprika.

Here it is so far:

I’m happy to see in the picture that the cable really stands out!

Have a good week!

If you knit incorrectly, one couldn’t tell from the finished projects you’ve produced. Your knitting is so beautiful, Ali Love the cables on this hat. Yours are perfect!
