I missed posting last week as the weekend was so busy. Last Saturday I was down 0.2 pounds...yup, barely anything, but I didn't gain. For that week, I really didn't track...I had lost my tracking mojo. This week, I got it back and it showed. Down 1 pound this week. Total down 12.2 pounds. Next … Continue reading Weekly Weigh In
This year, Forth of July was a low key affair. Last year, it was the last holiday I spent with my brother. This year, I really wanted it to be a quiet time. On Saturday, we spent time at the park, then a fun lunch with the two cuties, followed by time on the deck. … Continue reading Low Key

The week started with a bang-The Run For Recovery. The very first race of the Boston Bulldogs Running Club. A group of us from work did this and it was a great race with a very emotional vigil after. For many years, I ran the good old fashion traditional way…go out and just start running. After a back injury years ago, that was no longer possible. Luckily I found Jeff Galloway and his method of interval running. Once I got over thinking I wasn't a "real" runner by incorporating walk breaks, I was hooked. … Continue reading Galloway Running
I achieved my goal of running 10K! This may not be a hard goal in some people's eyes, but it was a goal I worked towards. I think my photo says it all! Truth be told, I probably will do it again!
